GMDSS Radio Surveys in the Caribbean & Bahamas

Aquatic Navigation provides on-site radio surveys for yachts and commercial vessels throughout the Caribbean, the Bahamas and Latin America, so you don't need to reposition your vessel for an inspection. Based in South Florida, we're minutes from Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Miami (MIA) International Airports, which offer direct flights to most regional ports. We've been performing GMDSS surveys since 2008 and are approved by ABS, Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas, RINA and DNV.

We serve every marina on both the Dutch and French sides of St. Maarten / St. Martin, as well as Tortola (British Virgin Islands) and Antigua. In St. Thomas and St. Croix (U.S. Virgin Islands), we can also conduct FCC inspections for U.S.-flag vessels.

Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica (Kingston and Montego Bay) and Curaçao.

Nassau and Freeport are a short flight from Fort Lauderdale, and we can often accommodate short-notice requests.

We also travel to the Panama Canal (both the Atlantic and Pacific sides), Costa Rica, Colombia, Guyana, Suriname, Brazil, Chile and Mexico (Cabo San Lucas, La Paz and Ensenada). If your vessel is somewhere else, please contact us. We regularly travel to meet vessel schedules worldwide.

We recommend booking about one month in advance so we can coordinate travel with your vessel's schedule. When requesting a survey, please provide the port, your preferred dates, the vessel's flag state and class society, and its IMO number, if assigned. Every survey outside the United States is individually quoted.
