GMDSS Radio Surveys

Annual and renewal radio surveys on behalf of ABS, Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas, RINA and DNV, documented on the class society's forms for all flag states that recognize these IACS approvals.

FCC Inspections

Inspections and renewals for U.S.-flag vessels: FCC Form 824 (Communications Act Safety Radiotelephony Certificate), Form 827 (Vessel Bridge-to-Bridge Radiotelephony Certificate) and Form 829 (Cargo Ship Safety Radio Certificate).

EPIRB Testing

Annual 406 MHz EPIRB testing, including 121.5 MHz homing and GPS checks, registration verification, and battery and hydrostatic release expiry dates.

SART Testing

Radar SART and AIS-SART testing to confirm activation and detection, with battery expiry and stowage checks.

AIS Testing

Class A and Class B AIS verification: MMSI, IMO and vessel data programming, GPS input, and transmit and receive checks.

SSAS Testing & Programming

Ship Security Alert System programming and testing, coordinated with the vessel's Company Security Officer and flag administration.

LRIT Conformance Testing

LRIT terminal setup and conformance testing. We work with several authorized LRIT testing facilities to obtain the Conformance Test Report your flag state requires.
