Vessel Information Modeling

Vessel Information Modeling (VIM) is a process of creating and managing digital representations of physical and functional characteristics of a vessel. It uses 3D modeling scanning and software to simulate the construction and operation of a vessel, allowing architects, engineers, contractors, and facility managers to collaborate and make informed decisions throughout the building lifecycle. VIM helps to improve design accuracy, reduce construction errors and rework, and increase overall efficiency and sustainability of the building process.
